CEDARS – Jebel Ali International Hospital continues to offer free health checkups to UAE residents
Mark your calendars as CEDARS – Jebel Ali International Hospital will hold free health check ups on May 12 and May 14. Residents can check their blood sugar, blood pressure and body mass index for free on 12 May from 10am to 3pm at The Market Mall, Green Community and on May 14 from 9am to 2pm at JAFZA Building 14.
"The prevalence of pre-diabetes and Diabetes is increasing tremendously worldwide especially in the Gulf area because of sedentary lifestyle and lack of physical activity, unhealthy diet and smoking. Early detection for pre-diabetes is important because with the proper management we can prevent Diabetes and its complications such as coronary heart disease," says Dr. Audette Abdulla, Head of Diabetes Clinic at CEDARS – Jebel Ali International Hospital. "Through our awareness programs we aim to educate individuals about the necessity of having regular check ups to prevent onset of these diseases. This will save you a lot of headache and heartache in the future", she further added. These free health check ups are done in cooperation with Green Community and EZW.
