CEDARS – Jebel Ali International Hospital
Established in 1999, CEDARS – Jebel Ali International Hospital was the only full-pledged 24-hour medical center in the Jebel Ali area and was upgraded into a hospital in August 2004.
Today, CEDARS – Jebel Ali International is a full-fledged multi-specialty hospital with 20 beds offering services ranging from Pediatrics to Occupational Health, Laparoscopic Surgery to Internal Medicine. The Hospital is equipped with ICU for medical and surgical emergencies, with two major and one minor operation theatres as well as with fully equipped Laboratory and Radiology departments. Our pool of highly qualified medical professionals have different specialties and trainings from all around the world.
The Hospital has stepped up and addressed Occupational Health in its global perspective and is the only Specialized Occupational Health Centre in the country offering Awareness Programs; Training Programs; Consultation; Annual Medical Tests; Pre-employment Exams; Company Inspections; Exit Medical Exams; Offshore Fitness tests.
The Life Support Training Center at the Hospital is committed to training public and professional communities in order to improve health and safety in the work environment. Through an alliance with the American Heart Association (AHA), we offer classes in basic life support and advanced cardiac life support. Our instructors are AHA certified and use educational adjuncts and realistic scenario-based teaching to target specific provider needs.
CEDARS - Jebel Ali International Hospital has successfully acquired the ISO 9001:2008 Certification and will be audited by JCI (Joint Commission International) in 2012.
Further attached to the hospital are the 24-hour-pharmacy and three satellite clinics: Dr. Adnan Kaddaha Clinic (Bur Dubai) and Free Zone Clinic (Jebel Ali Free Zone).
