Dr. Adnan Kaddaha

A member of International Who is Who for Professionals, Dr. Kaddaha has a wide area and years of experience. After his specialization in Internal Medicine and Clinical Cardiology, he was appointed as the Medical Advisor to the Consulate General of the UAE in Karachi, where has was the attending physician to UAE Diplomats and visiting dignitaries. He has been the Director General of the Arab Medical Centre [Karachi] and has also been a Lecturer in Gen. Medicine at the Jinnah Post Graduate Medical Centre. He is presently practicing Internal Medicine and Clinical Cardiology at his own Private Clinic in Dubai.

He is the official Physician to Air France [Dubai and Northern Emirates]; Consultant Physician to the French Consulate General; Consulate General of Lebanon, Dubai; Regional Medical Director, Eagle Star International; DUGAS etc.

Dr. Kaddaha is also the Consultant Physician and official representative to Mondial Assistance, GESSA assistance –France and Europe in Dubai and N. Dr. Bassam Youssef
E.N.T. Specialist & Assistant Medical Director

Dr. Bassam completed his degree in General Medicine from University of Craiova in Romania in the year 1987 and after which he obtained ENT specialization in 1994 from the University of Hamburg in Hamburg, Germany.

He has over 10 years experience as an ENT surgeon. He was an ENT Registrar from 1994 to 1998 at Tawam Hospital (Al Ain, U.A.E.). From 1999 to 2005 he worked at MAIS Hospital (Chtoura, Lebanon), Bekaa Hospital (Taanayel, Lebanon) and Atiba Hospital (Al Manara, Lebanon). He was also a Faculty staff of Lebanese University of Health Science and Nursing and was a former Medical director of Atiba Hospital (Al Manara, Lebanon).

Aside from the regular ENT cases, he is also an authority in Snoring Treatment.

He has now joined the CEDARS-Jebel Ali International Hospital team as ENT Specialist and conducts his clinic at the following timings.

Dr. Geetha Shetty

Dr. Geetha graduated in 2000 from ABSMI of Dental Sciences, India under Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences.

She has more than 7 years experience in clinical dentistry during which she worked for multi specialty hospital in India.

Her field of interest is in cosmetic restoration including Crown and bridges, teeth whitening and root canal treatment.

Dr. Geetha works as a General Dentist in CEDARS.

Dr. Sevdalina Ivanova

Dr. Sevdalina is a highly qualified physician. She received her medical Education with M.D. Qualification at the Medical University, Varna, Bulgaria. She completed her Post Graduation in Internal Medicine from Medical University, Sofia, Bulgaria in 2003.

Dr. Sevdalina has 5 Years experience as a Specialist in Internal Diseases (Study and Practice) in National Multi Profile Transport Hospital, Sofia, Bulgaria.

Now she joined Cedars – Jebel Ali International Hospital. Her special interests are Heart Related Diseases.

Dr. Susan John Mathews
General Practitioner

Dr. Susan is a highly qualified and well experienced General Practitioner with more than 10 years of experience.

She finished her M.B.B.S. in 1991 from Mysore University and obtained D.C.H. (Diploma in Child Health) from the same University in 1995 and worked thereafter in various Hospitals in India.

Dr. Susan has worked in Sajida Medical Center and Al Zahra Hospital in Sharjah before joining the CEDARS team.

Currently, she is working as a General Practitioner at Cedars - Jebel Ali International Hospital.

Dr. Pankajam Indrajit

Qualified and well experienced General Practitioner with more than 10 years experience in Clinical Practice.

Dr. Pankajam completed her graduate Degree in the year 1996 from J.J.M. Medical College, Karnataka, India and later obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Dermatology, Venerology and Leprosy from Fr. Muller Medical College, Rajiv Gandhi University ,Bangalore ,India in the year 2003.

Her main areas of interest are Dermatology and Cosmetology.

Dr. Jaya Pisharody
General Practitioner

Dr. Jaya Pisharody is a highly qualified and experienced physician with more then 20 years clinical practice, 9 of which in the field of Ophthalmology. She graduated from Trivandrum Medical College in 1985 and worked thereafter in various Government Hospitals of Kerala, India.

Dr. Jaya received her Post Graduate Diploma in Ophthalmology from Kasthurba Medical College, Manipal, India in 1990.Thereafter she worked as a GP and Ophthalmologist in the Government Hospital of Kerala. Dr. Jaya has worked in Dubai as Assistant in Agarwal Eyeclinic, now she is General Practitioner in Cedars – Jebel Ali International Hospital.

Dr. Rose Petero
General Practitioner

Dr. Rose obtained her M.D. degree from Iloilo Doctor's College of Medicine Inc. in the Philippines in 1995.

After finishing her licensure examination, Dr. Rose worked as a medical officer in a Government hospital wherein she completed a 4 year special training in the department of Internal Medicine and later, she worked as a junior ER consultant in the same hospital. Gaining the necessary experience, she started her own private practice for 2 years before coming to the U.A.E..

She is now working as a General Practitioner at Cedars - Jebel Ali International Hospital.

Dr. Farzad Ghaedi
General Practitioner

Dr. Farzad Ghaedi has 7 years experience as a medical doctor in the UAE.

He had worked in several hospitals such as Al-Kuwaiti Hospital, Al-Qasimi Hospital and Russian Hospital.

His experience includes workingin Accident & Emergency Department, General Surgery and Internal Medicine.

Dr. Kamal Shorbagi

Dr. Kamal Shorbagi is a qualified medical professional with over thirty years experience in medicine. He has worked in different hospitals and clinic in Sudan and in the U.A.E. as a general practitioner as well as administrator personnel.

Dr. Kamal obtained his MD from Moscow First Medical Institute in Russia. Previously, he has worked as a resident then a medical officer, and finally a senior medical officer in different hospitals and clinics in Sudan. Dr. Leonides Soria, M.D.

Dr. Leonidas is a well experienced physician with nearly 10 years experience in the field of General Medicine. Having worked as a Municipal Health Officer, he has a wide range experience in Immunization, Diarrhea diseases, Tuberculosis Control Program, Environmental sanitation, CVD prevention program and STD/AIDS prevention program. Dr. Leonidas is a member of the Philippine Medical Association and is a former Secretary of Medical Society Association of the Philippines Mindoro Occidental. His field of interest includes Occupational Health, Minor Surgery, General Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Preventive Medicine and Vaccination.

Dr. Jaydip Niyogi
General Practitioner

Dr. Jaydip Niyogi is a well experienced doctor with more than ten years of clinical practice after his M.B.B.S, which he completed from the Calcutta National Medical College and Hospital/University of Calcutta in India. He did his post internship residential house surgeonship in Orthopedics and Traumatology for 2 years and one year house job in E.N.T. He is also an ACLS (Advance Cardiac Life Support) provider and has a vast experience in trauma and orthopedic emergencies. He has worked under MOH, India as a G.P/Family Practitioner managing all kinds of medical, surgical, pediatric cases along with trauma cases. Finally, he worked in the Maldives for 2 years where he received vast experience in tropical diseases.

Dr. Jaydip Niyogi has also undergone Basic Surgical Skills course by the Ethicon Institute of Surgical Education, Royal College of Surgeon of Edinburgh, Indian chapter in 2003.

Dr. Sanjeeda Akhter
General Practitioner

Dr. Sanjeeda obtained her Medical degree from the University of Science and Technology in Chittagong, Bangladesh in 2003.

From September 2004 to February 2006, she worked as a medical officer in the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics in Dhaka Central Hospital after which she transferred to Niramoy Clinic to work as an emergency medical officer in Internal Medicine.

Dr. Sanjeeda also obtained P.G. training in Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics in DMC an 2004.

Dr. Samer Mohammed Bakr
General Practitioner

Dr. Samer Mohammed obtained his Bachelor in Medicine and General Surgery degree from the University of Baghdad Medical College.

After finishing his medical degree, Dr. Samer worked as a general practitioner at the Al-Ramadi Teaching Hospital in Iraq, where he was assigned as a Senior House Officer in the Emergency Medicine for one year and was later on assigned as a General Practitioner in Emergency Medicine.

His special interest is in Trauma and Surgery.

Dr. Samer Mohammed has now joined CEDARS –JAIH as a General Practitioner in Emergency Medicine and Trauma.

Dr. Bahaa Khair Eldin

PHD in Orthopedic – Traumatology and Urillitary Surgery.

Dr. Bahaa graduated in 1985 at the Kharkov Medical University, Ukraine.

He has practical experience after graduation around 10 years as Traumatologist In–Charge in Kharkov and as Orthopedic in Kharkov State Research Scientific Institute of Orthopedic and Traumatology. During this period he worked in the Department of Congenital Malformation.

Dr. Bahaa completed PhD in Orthopedic Traumatology at the Kharkov Research Institute of Orthopedics and Traumatology in 1995. From 1995 to 1998 he worked at different Departments of the same institute as a Senior Clinical Coordinator.

Dr. Bahaa works at CEDARS – Jebel Ali International Hospital as a GP Orthopedic - Traumatologist.

Dr. Abdul Illah Durrani
General Practitioner (MBBS, RMP)

Dr. Abdul Illah Durrani is a well skilled and well experienced doctor with more than six years of clinical practice. He has a good sense of command in his field with up-to-date knowledge and clinical skills.

He completed his graduation of MBBS from a renowned medical institute in Pakistan, the Khyber Medical College/University Peshawar in 2004.

He did his junior internship in the field of surgery in one of the leading teaching hospitals of Pakistan, the Khyber Teaching Hospital, Peshawar. During his internship, he assisted all the major surgeries conducted and also performed some less intensive surgeries and operators by his own will and capabilities. He was also awarded as the Best Junior House Officer in surgical wards of the hospital in 2004. As a senior medical house officer, he joined Hayat Abad Medical Complex, Peshawar in 2005 and dealt with vast majority of different medical and emergency scenarios, in which the unit for AIDS and HIV positive patients was most important.

He was selected as a member of Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) in 2004 to 2005 and worked under its supervision for more than five years as a General Practitioner in one of the leading organization for healthcare protection, the Union Aid for Afghan Refugees in Pakistan, which is supported and funded by the United Nations (UNHCR) and German Relief Agencies.
