Dr. Taqi Ali Al Mosawi

Dr. Taqi Ali Al Mosawi has more than 24 years clinical experience in the management of various skin diseases, using the latest pharmacological therapy and cosmetic procedures. He is experienced in using LASER therapy, Cryotherapy, Electrocautery, Botox and Fillers procedures.

He was a Consultant Allergist & Dermatologist at the Outpatient Clinic of Mosul Teaching Hospital & Mosul Medical College (Mousel, Iraq) for 11 years until 1999. He then transferred to Al Jazeira Hospital, Abu Dhabi as a Dermatologist / Clinical Allergists and worked for 5 years.

He was an Allergist at Mafraq Hospital from 2005 - 2007. He also held similar positions as Specialist Dermatologist at Arya Clinic, Dubai, Gulf Diagnostic Center Hospital, Abu Dhabi and Dr. Hadi Hofmann Clinic, Dubai.

Dr. Taki received his M.B.Ch.B in Baghdad College of Medicine, University of Baghdad, Iraq in 1978. He went to UK for further studies and received High Diploma in Dermatology at University of London in 1982 and later his Masters at University of Birmingham in 1985. He received his Ph.D in Allergy from University of Southampton, UK in 2008.

Dr.Gulerana Shoaib
Specialist Gynaecologist

Dr. Gulerana Shoaib is a Fellow of College of Physicians and Surgeons with more than 9 years experience in gynaecology/obstetrics in Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.

She did her internships at Jinnah Post Graduate Medical Centre (JPMC), Sindh Government Qatar Hospital and Civil Hospital, Karachi, Pakistan under supervision of Dr. Sher Shah Syed.

She worked as Senior Registrar in Patel Hospital and postgraduate institute in Pakistan for 3 years and Prince Salman Bin Abdul Aziz Hospital, Riyadh, KSA in 2010. She handled emergency surgeries and planned surgeries, performed independent assisted deliveries, caesarean deliveries, hystrectomies (vaginal and abdominal), and laparotomy. She also assisted in oncological and laparoscopic surgeries. Furthermore she conducted research and gave weekly presentations of complicated cases in multi-disciplinary and oncological meetings.

Dr. Gulerana Shoaib worked as specialist in Koohi Goth Women Hospital Research & Training Centre Karachi. She did high risk Opds and performed routine gynaecological surgeries such as evacuation, laprotomy, and vaginal and abdominal hystrectomy, normal and assisted delivery and ceserian section.

She has special interest in adolescent gynaecological problems, early pregnancy complications, high risk pregnancies and infertility. She also provides support and counseling to patient and families. Dr. Gulerana Shoaib is master trainer of workshops for counseling, manual vacume aspiration (IPAS), and emergency obstetrics by UNICEF. She is also the member of Right to Life and Health Project of UNICEF in Pakistan.

For the past 10 years Dr. Gulerana Shoaib has been part of a surgical team with Dr. Shershah which performs free surgical camps to rural areas in Pakistan.

Prof. Dr. Guenther Kieninger
Specialist Surgery / Head of Department of Surgery and Medical Director

Prof. Dr. Guenther Kieninger is the Medical Director and Member of the Management of CEDARS Jebel Ali International Hospital. Since 1980 he is Professor of Surgery of the University of Tuebingen, Germany. He was the Director of the Dept. for General-, Visceral- and Trauma Surgery of the Stuttgart-Bad Cannstatt Hospital from 1983 until 2003. In 1991 he was elected as the Chairman of the Surgeons Association for the Central Rhine Area.

Since 2004 Prof.Kieninger is the Head of Department of Surgery and the Medical Director of CEDARS- Jebel Ali International Hospital.

Dr. Koneru Surya P. Rao
Chief Anesthesiologist

Dr. K. S. P. Rao is highly experienced Anaesthesiologist worked with Federal Ministry of Health of the UAE in Sharjah for 22 years (from 1981 to 2003). He has worked in Cardiothoracic Surgery, General Surgery and Obstetrics and Gynaecology for 7 years after M.B;B.S Degree from Jabalpur University (M.P) India.

Later he joined in Shiraz University in Iran and completed specialization, got his Master Degree in Anaesthesiology.

Dr. Rao worked for 1 year with Ministry of Health in Iran, too.

Dr. K. S. P. Rao is now M.D. Chief Anaesthesiologist at CEDARS – Jebel Ali International Hospital. He is Anaesthetist in General Anaesthesia, Regional Blocks and Management of ICU & CCU.

Since September 2004 Dr. Rao is conducting a very successful Pain Clinic. He is very fond of giving chronic Pain relieving injections (around 50 per Month). Dr. Rao gives vigorous Physiotherapy after relieving the pain, so that patient could practice at home.

Dr. Hassan is practicing General Surgery and Traumatology since more than 30 years. He received his medical education at the University of Tubingen and his surgical degree at the University of Aachen, Germany.

He was appointed 1st Oberarzt at St. Willibroidun Hospital, Germany (1973 - 1974).

From 1975 – 1982, Dr. Hassan worked as Chief Surgeon at the Arab Research Center for injuries in Beirut and the PRCS.

Dr. Vijay Bhatia

With nearly 9 years of experience in the field of Radiology and Imaging, Dr. Vijay Bhatia is well acquainted with imaging modalities like CT and MRI, apart from routine X-rays, Special procedures (Barium swallow, Barium meal & enemas), IVU and HSG.

He has always had special interest in Ultrasonography – Routine, Obstetric and Gynecological, Small parts like thyroid, testes, breasts etc., Color Doppler studies for Deep Vein Thrombosis, Carotid arteries, Peripheral Vascular disease, Varicocele, Transvaginal & Transrectal sonography of prostate.

Dr. Nagwan Said Mohamed

Dr. Nagwan obtained her M.B.B.S from the Cairo University in Egypt in the year 1995. She further obtained her Post Graduate Diploma in Pediatrics from the Suez Cana University also in Egypt in 2002.

Dr. Nagwan has more than 10 years experience in the field of General Pediatrics and Neonatology, including 7 years work experience in Al Naser General Hospital. She worked in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and Pediatric department in a tertiary care hospital in Port Said, Egypt. She has further worked in Al Baha, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for 3 years as a Pediatric Specialist.
